THE BUILDERS
Not commentary about problems. People building the answer.
I don't link things I haven't looked into. Everything on this page I checked myself—who runs it, where the money goes, what's verifiable and what isn't. Here's what I found.

THE GARDEN PROJECT
What it is: Believers meeting in person, one weekend a month, organized by region. Saturdays are fellowship built around the members' interests list when they sign up. Sundays are service—regional leadership finds a real need locally, and the group goes and meets it. The network grows when members start new regions, not when a headquarters decides to expand.
What I checked: Registered 501(c)(3) in Montana. EIN is published on their own site and verifiable in the IRS database. Donations are tax-deductible.
Why it's here: Self-reliance isn't only a personal discipline. It's a community one. These people are doing it face to face, which is rarer than it should be.

SLAVERY IS A CHOICE
What it is: A documentary written, produced, and directed by Vince Everett Ellison. Releasing August 2026.
Read the title twice. It isn't an argument about whether the past was voluntary. Ellison's case is that roughly 200,000 people ran or fought for their freedom—which means a choice existed even then—and that freedom is something you accept and defend rather than something handed to you. Watch the trailer before you decide what you think.
What I checked: Ellison wrote, directed, and produced it himself. Standard House Media is his own production company—a for-profit and not a charity. Your support funds a film; it is not a tax deduction. The budget is the ordinary production cost: travel, crew, editing, archival footage, and music licensing.
Why it's here: I'd rather back a film that says something hard and pays its own way than one that got made because it was safe.

I'm not affiliated with either of these and I receive nothing from them. I checked what could be checked and told you what couldn't. Verify me anyway. That's the point.
